twenty oh nine

so i finished reading ‘hector and the search for happiness’ at starbucks today and i think everyone should give this book a go.  do not scorn the simple language and the ‘cheesiness’ of the title because despite the cheerfully cartooned front page, i feel that this book is wonderfully thought provoking and describes so very much with so very little.  it’s like only 320 pages!  even so, hector’s quest really makes you question and reflect upon the very essence of happiness

i have been craving for some really good french pastries since lately but alas, the only boulangerie in urbana does not operate on sundays and mondays.  i have to wait another entire day for my croissants..and my financiers which i haven’t tried before but sounds all almondy and delicious.  tuesday faster come please!!
